We're a recently-retired (yea!) Seattle couple who has enjoyed many years of skiing vacations in the Methow. We're looking forward to staying longer next year, and are looking for a two-month furnished rental in Winthrop: small house, apartment, mobile home, etc. for Jan-Feb 2010. Or a house-sit, or trade for our house in Seattle? We're pretty open at this point to whatever arrangements work out for both parties.

| I have a 2100 sq foot "cabin" in Mazama. I'd consider leasing it for a couple months in the winter, as I'm a CPA, and find it difficult to get over the the valley often during my busy season. It was just completed last summer. |

We're looking at January and February. Could you tell me where your place is, and how much you'd be willing to lease it for? A "cabin" of that size might be a bit more than we're looking for. It's bigger than our place in Seattle! Thanks.

I have a 400 sq. ft. cabin in Lost River which I will be happy to rent to you. I have rented it to many CC skiers and snowshoers who love the well-groomed trails out here.
The road is plowed. The cabin is warm, new and very comfotable. And the price is right. $500./monnth - or happy to trade with you for your Seattle House. I do have dog - a well-trained Lab and ancient cat. I am 67. Also retired and take very good care of any place.
